Still work as it should. This cat toy has 2 parts: The base and The Feathered Wand(this screw on and off easy from base). The feathered piece definitely shows wear but is still functional and very useable. This has 4 different settings (slow, medium, fast and random). Brand/From: Worldwise, Inc.. Battery Operated: Required (3) AA Batteries (DOES NOT COME WITH THEM). This toy mimics the thrill of the hunt, encourages even inactive cats to chase, pounce and leap. This toy tranforms playtime into exercise time. What you see in the pictures is what you get.
