Hanwei - Wushu Sword Water Song

Brand new display water song broadsword directly from China. Still in its original box from several years ago. Received as a gift then put in the storage and now making room. Sword never used and has been in its original box ever since receipt. Adult owned, non smoker. The blade seems to have some protective oil on it, so your need to wipe that off if you want a shiny finish. This high quality Wushu “Water Song” Dao Broadsword is purpose-built for Chinese martial arts. The blade is ultra-flexible and will produce the audible “Water Song” for a KungFu routine or practice. The blade is durably thick at the base and it tapers to being nearly paper-thin at this tip which creates a sword that is both lightweight and very responsive in its balance. The sword is not sharpened, but the edge can be quite thin in the tapered portion of the blade. The guard and pommel are crafted from blued steel and the grip is bound in vibrant red cord to complete the sword. The sword is matched with a wooden scabbard with matching steel fittings and finished with textured red lacquer
