Rare Vintage MCM Mid Century Modern 1940’s Shawnee Pottery Co. Puss ‘N Boots Hand Painted Cat Ceramic Cookie Jar. This is a gorgeous cat cookie jar. This is around 80 years old from the 1940’s. Great vintage shape for being that old there are no chips or cracks. This measures approx 10” tall by 7.5” depth. Shawnee Pottery Co. was founded in 1937 by Adis Hull of Hull Pottery and others. The name was taken from the American Indians that once inhabited the Central Ohio area. Shawnee was one of the most successful pottery manufacturers of the 40’s-50’s. This comes with a cutout of some information of the cat. This will be fully sanitized right before shipping.
