1983 Suzuki GS550E I've had this motorcycle for the last 20 years and I've ridden it all over the place. Nowadays I mostly ride my scooter so the motorcycle has been in the garage for a while and I figure it's time for somebody else to enjoy it. It's always been a solid runner and it's never let me down. Bike was dropped by a previous owner on the right hand side, damage is visible but minimal. Over the years I have some maintenance work including but not limited to - replaced the regulator/rectifier - rebuilt the carburetors - replaced the starter motor - replaced the tires (low miles but about 12 years old) - replaced the front fork seals - periodic oil / filter / brake pad replacements - replaced the chain ...most of which are still in good shape today. I also recently installed a new battery. Bike starts and runs but has been sitting in my garage for a while (with occasional starting of the engine) so it will likely need to be run for a while with some fresh gas. Could ride it for a while but with the age and how long it's been garaged it may be a good idea to do another carb rebuild which should be easy given the extra set that comes with the bike. I am generally available evenings during the week and sometimes on weekends if you'd like to see the bike. No test rides but I'm happy to start and run it for you to demonstrate that it works.
