Well over $500 in gear if you buy it new! (No fish or plants included; photo for reference only) - Aquatop Eurostyle Bowfront Glass Aquarium, ES-24, Frameless style (Orig $95). Very Good condition, back is painted black with water based acrylic paint (easy to scratch off if you want). Contains pool filter sand and some decorative volcanic rocks. - Imagitarium Brooklyn steel tank stand with leveling feet (Orig $75). - To make the stand prettier and more functional, I added quartz countertop material (which looks like black granite but is more sanitary) on top of the stand under the tank (Orig $95) - I also took some Baltic Birch boards and made thick, sturdy shelves under the tank. They're sanded and have 3 coats of polyurethane for water resistance. - To turn the tank into a real centerpiece for a room there are also two 24" x 6" pieces of the birch, also sanded and finished, to hang as matching shelves above the tank. (The wood and such was over $100). - Includes an LED light with multiple settings, I've forgotten the brand but it was $50. - Setup includes a small used heater, a GFCI outlet adapter (to be more safe about mixing water and electricity!), a timer for the light, a used Tetra Whisper filter with media to put in to make a custom filter (don't use those throwaway filters!), net, tank cleaning siphon, pitcher for mixing water ... easily $100 in useful accessories. You haul only, my car is little!
