Vintage 1982. This receiver is in good condition both cosmetically and mechanically. Only piece missing is the clock battery cover. A part of Marantzs' 1982 line of gold plated devices. The SR 8100 dc was ahead of it's time with the first microprocessor in a hifi component ever as well as a sleep timer(unheard of at that time). Originally designed by Tom Ishimoto the SR 8100 DC was a popular unit when it first retailed at $750($1850 in todays dollars according to the Beureau of Labor statistics) Tuning range: FM, MW Power output: 70 watts per channel into 8Ω (stereo) Frequency response: 16Hz to 30kHz Total harmonic distortion: 0.03% Damping factor: 50 Input sensitivity: 2.7mV (MM), 160mV (line) Signal to noise ratio: 81dB (MM), 96dB (line) Dimensions: 416 x 117.5 x 388mm Weight: 11kg
