The Orange Terror Bass 500-Watt Bass Head is a 500 watt hybrid bass amp with a valve preamp and solid state power amp. It has a full, responsive three-band EQ, active and passive operation, and a Class D power rating. It also has a 12AX7 front-end based on the company's AD200 head, a pair of Speakon connectors around the back, and a 4/8-ohm impedance switch. The Terror Bass can produce clean pop sounds through to gritty rock tones. AKG's P220 large-diaphragm condenser microphone is built for versatility. Whether capturing pristine vocals or miking loud brass sections, the P220 delivers. Its cardioid polar pattern focuses on sound directly in front, while rejecting noise from the sides and rear. For extra control, engage the switchable 20dB pad to prevent distortion from high sound pressure levels up to an incredible 155dB. A bass roll-off filter eliminates low-end rumble. Despite its sensitivity, the P220 is rugged enough for live performance thanks to a durable build and included shockmount which isolates the mic from mechanical noise and vibrations.
