although, i bought a rebuilt car from here 3 months ago. check engine light came on 2 weeks after i bought it. i was warned by a pre purchase inspection that the engine codes were cleared, but i didn't think much about it (i'm an ignorant teenager who didn't know what that meant and really wanted this car). also was told there's nothing wrong with the car except maintenance that needed to be completed, obviously. however, while driving home and tailing the new car, i saw that the rear wheel was actually wobbling pretty badly. i did not notice this during the test drive because obviously, i can't see what's happening outside of my car.

i'll take it as a lesson to not buy rebuilt cars and to not let my desperation ignore problems because it was my fault as well. i wanted this car so badly that i ignored all the problems with it and let them sell it to me for more than it is worth. i bought the car for 7k although the pre purchase said it was barely worth 5k. dealers said 7k was the lowest they could go. i should have listened to the pre purchase inspection, but damn, i took the bullet instead of someone else

i cannot blame the dealers because i understand everyone is just trying to make a profit, you guys can't take a loss on a car you guys invested on. i can't blame you because you guys also told me that i could've passed up the car to someone else to buy.

i'm only leaving this review because i'm praying you guys didn't know about the problems (engine codes cleared, wheel wobbling), with the car before selling it to me. i hope you guys are doing well.

EDIT AS A RESPONSE CORRECTION ~3 WKS**:
i didn't think much of the check engine light after 3 weeks, i did wonder if i should go back to you guys but what would be the point? there is no warranty, and i figured you guys would obviously not take back the car to do anything about it since you guys already sold it to me. i assumed that after you guys sold me the car, everything related to the car would be my issue. so i was trying to deal with it myself, i did not feel the need to leave a review at that time. you guys wouldn't lose money on a car that's already sold, right? the car got into an accident a while ago, hydroplaning- my friend drove my car because i was out of state and needed the car back in my driveway. unfortunate. i'm hoping that it's just because the road was wet (rain after a while) and not because the wheel was wobbling. i am doing a deep reflection on everything, and that is why i decided to leave a review now.

i regret buying the car and not finding the time or money to fix all the problems with it. it is a life lesson for me, like i said.

inspection: "car shouldn't be bought for more than 5k," the market value for a rebuilt ON CARFAX is 10k according to the paper, sure. however, do a little bit of digging now, and the normal price for a 2008 miata with problems is $5k-8k. on facebook marketplace, like where i found this car, i see a few on sale for less than 6k, prob because there's work that needs to be done. looking for a new car now, same make model and year, and only looking for clean titles because i'm afraid of hidden problems now. for a CLEAN TITLE, the market value IS 10k avg to 15k low mileage.

wheel bearings was the only necessary repair, because it was very loud, that i had to care about. i did it successfully for the front though, rear i took it to a shop. the paint hasn't been worked on yet but those were really the only problems brought to my attention back then- i dropped the PRICE from 7800 to 7500 for the paint. what other repairs did you drop the price for? for the 3k in repairs the inspection quoted, you dropped it another 300.. the wheel wobbling and engine light weren't known about until later. from the inspection, no issues to the engine were brought up except "the codes have been cleared.. it's a little suspicious."
