Guaranteed Authentic! This genuine Louisville Slugger 125 S216 Baseball Bat was Game Used by Andre Thornton. It is inscribed “To DiMag You have a wonderful gift of God- “The willingness to be a friend! God Bless Andre Thornton Rom 1:16”. Thornton played with Cleveland Indians from 1977 until 1987. He was a 2 Time All Star, 1984 Silver Slugger, 1979 Roberto Clemente Award Winner, and is a member of the Cleveland Indians Hall of Fame. The bat was obtained by Carl “Dimag” DePhillipo and was a part of his personal collection. Carl devoted much of his life to collecting baseball memorabilia and assisting players at Cleveland Municipal Stadium. Despite never being on the official payroll of the Cleveland Indians or Browns, he was a constant presence behind the scenes, running errands, managing equipment, and offering unwavering support.
