The pizza oven includes a 13" diameter cordierite baking stone that provides 143 square inches of cooking space, allowing you to make a variety of different size pizzas, from personal to full size. The oven is equipped with a 15,000 BTU burner and steel heat plate to help evenly distribute heat throughout the oven. The powerful burner will get your oven up to a temperature of 650 degrees in 5-10 minutes. The stone heats evenly through the process of conductive heating to give you a perfectly crispy crust each time. The venting on the sides of the oven bring in cool air that is heated by the stainless steel burner and is then moved around the pizza to create a natural convection affect. The domed inner liner of the lid reflects heat back down to the pizza while creating a pocket of hot air to evenly cook your toppings. To give your pizzas even more flavor, use the smoke cup to burn wood chips while you are cooking to give your pizzas a natural smokey flavor just like a real brick oven!
