Description

Overview: Up for sale is an exquisite lithograph by acclaimed Vietnamese/French master, Hoi Lebadang (1(contact info removed)). Lebadang emigrated to France from Vietnam and fought with the French resistance in WWII. He later took up lithography and his art has been met with worldwide acclaim. This piece is a lithograph on artist's paper. This piece is entitled, "Prehistorica" and appears to depict a view of early man. Includes a trademark Lebadang feature of intaglio impressions under the image. Pencil-signed at lower right and numbered (114/120) at lower left. An excellent example of his work. Print is matted and framed in a gold metal frame, but could use a new sheet of glass. Condition: Print is in very good condition. One small scratch (as pictured). Matting and frame are in good condition. Frame shows minor scuffing. Missing glass. Print is not fully affixed to the matting and likely could be removed if desired. Measurements: Print measures approximately 25.75 inches high x 18.75 inches wide. Frame measures approximately 34.25 inches high x 26.25 inches wide.
