Top this; Topless Antique Walnut Side Table w/Carved Door: The top that would’ve been on this early 1900s side table would’ve most likely had been a slab of marble. Probably got broken or dropped during its 100+ years of existence. It also lost the pull hardware to the drawer. I’m not apologizing for these losses, I’m merely commentating on its current condition. When I found it, it was very thirsty so I gave it a coat of furniture oil which is drank up readily and revived it somewhat. I did not oil the inside of the drawer or the bottom cabinet as the wood is a bit wonky. You can still put things into those two compartments but I definitely would not overburden them. With the top gone, you could easily put a top on of your choosing or leave it open and maybe just put a plant in the open space or maybe even a rectangular glass container and use it as a display or even attach a cutting board to it and use it for the kitchen. Although it wouldn’t be a crime to repaint this; I wouldn’t but if you do paint it Cookie Monster Blue or Oompa Loompa Orange just keep it to yourself. Nobody needs to know. Measures 31” H x 14.5” Across x 14” Deep. There is about a 9” gap between the bottom of the top drawer to the top of the bottom part. Whether you decide to repurpose this or leave it as is, this is a very cool piece. If this was in 100% condition, this would easily be a $300 piece but because I want everyone to be able to get what they love, I’m offering this at an incredibly reasonable $75.
