Description

This is a pair of bookends from the 1930s. Life-like depictions of horse heads. Crafted from high quality ceramic by Japanese artisans who have managed to demonstrate great details to the horses’ form. Measures approximately 4 3/4” tall x 2 1/2” wide x 4 1/2” deep. Undersides have a material backing so as not to scratch the furniture or bookshelf. Both backs are stamped in black ink, “Japan.” Ideal for home or office decor or as an addition to any horse collection. Due to their age, there is some crazing, mainly on the white section. One ear is chipped (please see pictures.) Otherwise, they are in good, vintage condition. Price is for the pair. Not sold individually. Cash only.
