Selling a family treasure: This antique rocking chair belonged to my great-grandmother. It's a genuine piece from the mid-19th century (around 1840s-1870s), with beautiful aged wood and solid construction. It needs a new seat, making it a perfect project. I'm really hoping it finds a home where it'll be truly appreciated and given new life. It's tough to let it go, but it needs to find its next custodian.
