Measuring approximately 9” tall, with a wing span of 9 1/2”, this is the large version of Wittie the Owl manufactured by Steiff in Germany. Made of 59% wool and 41% cotton. Made of soft Mohair with brown, beige and green airbrushed accents. Hand-sewn and hand-finished with felt wing tips, rubber beak, green eyes. Wired feet and tail for stability. Original chest ID tag, yellow Steiff label and iconic Steiff old script silver button trademark which symbolizes its authenticity. Highly detailed. Firmly stuffed with wood wool. Steiff animals are highly collectible and meant for display, rather than play. Excellent condition. No fading, breaks, repairs etc. Cash only.
