Had a great experience buying from here. Appreciate doing business with Will Fogleman. The 2016 Lexus IS 350 we looked at was the best price in all of the houston area all while being in great condition. Sale was normal speed, but everything was smooth and organized. When we picked up the car, that night we encountered some battery issues and smaller things but we called the next day and dropped off the car to get the issue fixed, no extra cost. Even after Will told me to please let him know if anything else happens, let him know and he’ll take care of it for us. I really like how he went out of the way to help us when most dealerships would sell the car as-is and offer no help after. Thanks Will for the 2016 Lexus IS 350!

TLDR: They fingerprint you before a test drive, the manager Alex is a bold faced liar, the car I went to see wasn’t even the right model listed online, their cars aren’t mechanically sound.

Full story: One of the worst experiences trying to buy a used car ever. All seemed fine until I signed the paper for the test drive. They then asked me for a fingerprint. I refused. They said they wouldn’t let me test drive without my fingerprint. I said anyone is welcome to come with me, that I’d leave my keys/drivers license/whatever, but that I would not give them my fingerprint. They refused. They also said they would need a fingerprint regardless to even BUY the car. What?!? So I stormed out. But, I turned around because I’d already wasted an hour driving out there, so I at LEAST wanted to try to make it work. I should’ve just trusted my gut then and there and left.

I came back in explaining that it was ridiculous that they don’t warn people about the fingerprinting process, and to waste people’s time like this. I saw a previous review where a customer complained about the fingerprinting (screenshot posted) but the manager Alex replied that you only need a drivers license to test drive a car, which is why I went out there (lie). He tells me there’s a secondary method of verification through proof.com and they just need my license and a utility bill (and a face scan🙄). Fine! Whatever! But you can’t have my fingerprint. So I go through that 15+ minute process and am finally allowed to test drive the car.

I do my typical full inspection before even getting behind the wheel. Two cracked taillights stood out to me right away, but that’s a few hundred dollar fix so I moved forward. Got in the car, and proceeded to find no seat heaters like it was advertised (and still is 3 days later) to have. I then realized the car was an entirely different CHEAPER model than what it was listed for. It was an SE, not an XLE. There’s a BIG price/features difference between the two models. Still… I wanted to drive it. I invested all this time, so I did.

Right off the bat I noticed that the car’s front end was out of alignment. They didn’t even bother to do a front end alignment on the car before allowing it to be test driven! So that made me question the integrity of the front suspension. I took it up to 70 without it shaking, which I was honestly surprised at. But when I hit the brakes the vibrating started. The whole wheel shook, reinforcing my suspicion of a front end suspension issue (tie rod/control arm/ball joint/etc…). I’m not a mechanic, just a person who knows a little about cars, and even I caught the issues with it within the first few minutes of driving it. So they either don’t check their cars out after they buy them, or the person who does it is so bad at it that me, a layperson, did a better job.

When I brought the car back I told them everything that was wrong with it, gave them the keys, and left. All around a terrible experience. Avoid this place at all costs! They are shady, sell mechanically unsound cars, and unnecessarily collect your information. Super sketchy from start to finish.

In response to the owner’s response. Where did I call names? Someone making multiple false claims, especially with regards to the vehicle’s type and features, then leaving the false stats up for DAYS after it’s brought to their attention, would make them a… what…? Liar. That’s not calling names. That’s calling a spade a spade. With regards to “human error”, when you make that many mistakes regarding a car YOU’RE listing for sale, that’s not human error, that’s incompetence. Why don’t you take some accountability for your actions, instead of just deflecting?

Will and Alex were awesome to work with. As someone that can’t stand haggling with car dealers and don’t like wasting time at the lot, we made a deal within a very short period of time at a super great price even while trading in a vehicle. Their vehicles are in fantastic condition and I will be back. I highly recommend them and will definitely drop their names to anyone looking for a vehicle.
