Description

Selling this Evinrude 9.9 horse power outboard motor, was originally repairing it for a friend but he lost interest in the project so up for sale it goes. It has good compression and I have personally got it to start and stay running after cleaning the carb. The main issue is with the lower unit, I removed it to replace the water pump seals and a part of the housing for the seal has been broken away due to a blow the engine sustained from hitting debris in the water. It will need a new lower unit to make this engine serviceable again. Other than that it’s a good strong motor for its age. I do not have a title asking $250. I also have a box of parts for everything inside the lower unit.
