Hello my name is Amber, and I’m excited to share that I’m officially offering hair braiding services again! While I’m not a licensed professional, I’ve been doing hair since my teenage years. It started out of necessity when I couldn’t afford salon prices, and over time, I discovered a real love for it. Now at 46, I’ve decided to return to doing hair after losing my job. To help with back-to-school season approaching for my special needs son. Because I’m not licensed, I don’t charge licensed professional prices. We’re all doing our best to get by, and I want to keep my services affordable and accessible to those who need them. Styles I Specialize In: (All styles are done in medium or large sizes only — I do not offer small sizes at this time. This helps keep the price affordable and the time commitment reasonable.) Two strands twist – Spring twist hair Marley Twist– Cuban, Jamaican twist hair Senegalese Twists – Kanekalon braiding hair Faux Locs – Crochet faux locs Passion twist- Wrapped method. Preferred hair is Freetress hair. Box Braids (non-knotless) – Rubber band method that mimics a knotless look. Note: I’m still learning traditional knotless braids. I do offer them with rubber bands to appear somewhat Knotless. they are not yet at the level I’d considering payment for. I’m continuing to practice and grow in this area. ( If you would like for me to try we can discuss a price for that) Pricing: All styles are offered at a discounted rate of $125. I’m a mama doing what she has to do, so while my parts may not be perfect, I put care and effort into every head I touch. Important Info: Please arrive with your hair washed and blow-dried. If it needs a light touch-up with the blow dryer, I can do that at no extra charge. (Part of why I can keep my price low is by asking clients to come already prepped.) A $20 non-refundable deposit is required to book. I accept Cash App only. The remaining balance is due in cash upon arrival. I’ve had issues with fake payments in the past, so this system keeps things smooth and secure for both of us.
