Up for sale is my 2008 Subaru Impreza WRX STI hatchback with 110k miles on the body and 10k miles on a new factory-installed short block. I really wish I could keep this car, and the only reason I am selling is that I am moving to California, and it won’t pass smog out there (I also need room for my E30 project). I picked up this car in 2019 with 98k miles and it has been my daily driver since then. However, I really don’t drive it much as I don’t have a commute. I am the second owner, and the car was bone stock when I purchased it. I have since added basic Stage 2 power mods, swapped on new wheels and tires, and kept up with basic maintenance (oil every 3k miles, transmission, diff fluid change, etc). This car is a beast and has been only reliable to me. The only current issue is a slight vibration in the steering wheel around 50-60mph, which I suspect to be brake rotors, but I just haven’t gotten around to replacing these yet. You are more than welcome to take the car in for a pre-purchase inspection at your own cost. As the car has been a daily driver for its entire life, there are some minor dings and scratches but no accidents. It could use some touch-up paint, and the headlights are faded (could easily replace with aftermarket for like $200). I have a folder of records from the previous owner (including the new engine and the original receipt for the car) as well as records of my own. This car should be rock solid for another 100k miles and given it is a hatchback and the STI is now discontinued, I only expect it to appreciate. Not interested in trades. Maintenance: -New clutch at 47k miles -New short block with a new timing belt, water pump, at 97k miles installed by Subaru -Trans and Diff fluid replaced at 100k miles -New AC compressor at 101k miles -Compression Leakdown test at 104k miles: #1 138 4% #2 146 6% #3 136 6% #4 145 5% -Rotella T6 oil every 3k miles Modifications: (all installed at about 104k miles) -Cobb Accessport V3 with Stage 2 93 OTS map -Mishimoto intake -Invidia catted downpipe -Tanabe Medallion cat-back exhaust (pretty rare and unique exhaust – no drone at all and when you get it revving it has a bit of a higher exhaust note, sounds like a rally car at WOT) -Perrin Turbo Inlet Hose -Rays GramLights 57Transcend 18x10 +40 5x114.3 with 265/35ZR-18 GENERAL G-MAX AS-05 tires installed last year (rear fenders were rolled to accommodate this setup). -Alpine iLX-W650 head unit with CarPlay -RokBlokz mudflaps
