Description
This 1940's Wurlitzer Piano came out of a Sears Roebuck bungalow in Historic Hyattsville and has been completely gutted. The old panels have been used wherever possible for reconstruction and decoration. The bar top is Elm that was milled from an old tree that came down in a storm. The top is removable with 2 carriage bolts and 4 wood screws, for on the rare occasion that it needs to be moved. A thrifted mirror has been mounted to the back and panels have been framed away from the mirror's surface to create an ambient lighting effect. The LED strip lighting has a remote control with multiple color options and functions, and is dimmable. The bar comes equipped with A/C power and 3 USB ports. The lower middle shelf is repurposed from the keyboard cover and is removable with barrel locks on either side. The 18 bottle wine rack is also removable for easy access to clean the mirror. The keyboard shelf is offset for for tall bottle storage on the bottom shelf. The piano is currently being showcased at Miss Pixie's 1626 14th St NW Washington DC 20009
