Description

2004 Ford E350 Super Duty Cargo Van VIN: 1FDWE35L24HA74183 Miles: 195217 Engine: 5.4-liter (L) V8 gas engine Transmission: AT, 4R100 transmission, 8-330 (5.4L), ID 4C2P-EA Color: White and Orange THE ULTIMATE CONVERSION! On a constant journey to self-sufficiency and true freedom, this jewel was born. A rugged, utilitarian design with a spacious interior ideal for customization and future conversion projects. The van’s exterior features the classic, sturdy, boxy shape typical of cargo vans, with a high roofline, ensuring plenty of headroom inside. With two custom sleeping areas, the interior is designed for durability, comfort, and utility (a safety belt is installed in cargo area). This not only makes the van suitable for a secure space for living but working and adventuring on the road also. With majority of the base conversion work completed, here is a blank canvas to let your imagination run wild. The inside of the body has been fully framed with wooden studs, that have been primed with KILLZ to prevent moisture and mold, which extends the life of the frame. This step was done to reinforce structural integrity of the cargo body, as well as support added weight due to conversion ideas. Havelock wool insulation was used to fill the cavities on the walls. Havelock is a natural material that offers both comfort and soundproofing, further complemented by an additional vapor barrier for moisture control. The original 4-to-6-inch hardwood planks act as subflooring, which has been built up with 1/2-inch ISO foam insulation, a waterproof vapor barrier, and high traffic/scuff resistant waterproof vinyl planks. This setup provides additional thermal protection which keeps the temperature regulated inside, as well as offers durability and easy maintenance. With the rear roll-up door replaced by a custom-built wood-framed wall, with custom door entry, it offers additional security, and a reliable entry point. The solid wood door is equipped with a keyed outdoor knob, and a keyless deadbolt. The wall is built with sheathing, and cavities filled with 2-inch ISO foam insulation, offering enhanced thermal protection while maintaining the van’s structural integrity. The sheathing is further reinforced with Red Guard which prevents moisture and mold, an extra tacked down waterproof barrier, and White Lap Vinyl. This combination of materials ensures that the wall remains protected from all water elements. The body has been fitted with 2 RecPro frameless windows, both on the driver’s side (30" W x 20" H, 24" W x 36" H). A frameless design gives the window a sleek, modern look, eliminating a traditional frame around the glass for a clean, unobstructed view, while providing additional natural light and contributing to the overall insulation and waterproofing. Tempered glass provides safety by being stronger and more resistant to breaking. A small third window on the passenger side was also added. (Amarine-made Boat Yacht Rectangle Opening Portlight Porthole 15-3/4" x 7-7/8" Replacement Window Port Hole) -STRONG BATTERY -NEW RADIATOR (2023) *7K-10K materials/work added through conversion process. *Currently replacing transmission pan seal. *Also would recommend looking into used/ new transmission to extend life. ( This was plan, if retained ownership) 18,5K OBO
