Description

Gorgeous set of six rosewood dining chairs designed by Niels Otto Møller in 1951, made in Denmark by J.L. Mollers Mobelfabrik. The set consists of five model 71 side chairs and one model 55 armchair, all with their original upgraded camel color leather seats. The model 71 in still in production today, although not in rosewood, and the model 55 has been discontinued. The design is gorgeous, with elegant flowing lines on both models plus those distinctive short arms on the model 55. Frames have been refinished and are beautiful, while the original leather seats have a nice patina to them. There are some cuts and scratches but nothing overly noticeable and no holes. Moller stamp and or the Danish Furniture Control stamp on the underside. Model 71 side chairs are 19.5" wide, 19.5" deep, 31" high, 17.25" seat height. Model 55 armchair is 23.75" wide, 20.75" deep, 31.5" high, and 17.25" seat height.
