After 11,160 miles of operation, my 1969 Dodge’s fully rebuilt slant six was replaced with a 273 V8 as part of a university senior year project. This slant six Engine runs flawless and is a torque monster for its displacement. Runs out of cam around 5000 rpm, but this was not built to be a high-revving horsepower engine. It will require premium unleaded fuel due to the 10.4:1 compression ratio. This was a $3900 high-quality rebuild. Local pick-up only. Prefer to sell engine whole, though will part out the aftermarket intake manifold for $200 and the Dutra exhaust manifolds for $250.
