1977 Ford Bronco

Up for sale is a 1977 Jeep Cherokee S 4-door. This is a Southwest truck with a solid frame. I’m the 4th owner — it went from Bishop CA to Arizona to Victorville CA to LA when I purchased it June 2023. I have a binder with $13,000 in receipts documenting the work to get it back on the road. Selling because other hobbies get all my attention. The Good: - Rebuilt AMC 360 (~6,000 miles on build). - Mild cam, cylinders bored .30 over, Edelbrock intake manifold. - New Edelbrock 1406 carburetor installed 2025 - TH400 Automatic Transmission rebuilt same time as the engine. - Transfer case rebuilt less than 500 miles ago. - Radiator flushed and rodded - DUI distributor and new muffler - 3” Rough Country lift - Most window rubber seals replaced. The Bad: - Slow oil leak at rear main seal and valve cover gaskets. - Rebuilt transfer case has a minor weep. - Temp gauge reads slightly high, but engine temp not verified. - Classic FSJ rust in lower rear quarter panels. - Will need emissions equipment reinstalled to pass CA smog - removed by previous owner (passed smog in 2022 before removal) - Needs new heater core, A/C does not blow cold. - Front seats and dash are cracked. Carpet removed. - Original radio replaced with aftermarket unit. - Tires are older but hold air well. Clean title in my name. Currently registered Non-Op with no back fees.
