Two Silver Vintage Mexican Coins Monedas De Plata antiguas 1) 1980 Mexico 1 Onza Balance Scale silver coin, also known as a Mexican Onza, minted at the Casa de Moneda de México. Minted of .925 fine silver and contains 1 troy ounce of pure silver, although its total weight is 33.625 grams. "UNA ONZA TROY DE PLATA PURA". 2) 1978 Mexican 100 Pesos silver coin featuring José María Morelos. a key figure in Mexico's War of Independence. Contains .720 fine silver, with a weight of 20 grams of pure silver. Face value, 100 Pesos. These coins were minted from 1977 to 1979. Two very nice adds to your bullion collection.
