Description
I’ve had this chair assessed by a few different antique specialists. Each of them agree that, judging by the make of the screws used to hold it together, it was indeed made in the 1870’s. Because if it’s straight back, it has been deemed a “hall chair”, and based on the emblem on the back, it was likely made in England and travelled to the USA with the family who owned it. It’s in excellent condition.
