Credenza features raised panels on cabinet doors. Multi-toned walnut and oak with gorgeous wood grain throughout. Slender brass serpentine hardware. Very minor vintage wear. This beautiful walnut and oak credenza w/Hutch & Bar is from the coveted and ultra rare 'Forward '70' series by Broyhill Premier. 'Forward' debuted in 1961 and was touted as 'Newer than Scandinavian'. The thought was to create a unique, beautiful and modern collection that would 'look forward' and represent the American design of the future. This became one of Broyhill's most popular series, though it is much more difficult to find than Saga, Sculptra or Brasilia. Cabinet door opens to very cool white laminate top allowing the perfect cocktail prep space. Removable shelf allows for most any size bottle to be placed inside. Place your most prized mid century bar ware on the adjustable shelf behind the slide glass doors while still being able to keep them on display. It is in amazing vintage condition.
