Description
For sale: a vintage Fender Lead I electric guitar, known for its unique blend of classic Fender quality and modern playability. Crafted in the late 1970s, this instrument features a solid alder body with a sleek, double-cutaway design that provides excellent access to the upper frets. The maple neck with a comfortable "C" profile and a 21-fret maple fingerboard ensures smooth playability and fast action. Equipped with a single humbucking pickup, the Lead I offers a rich, powerful tone perfect for rock, blues, and more. The three-position toggle switch and coil-split switch provide a variety of tonal options, from thick, crunchy chords to bright, clear single-coil sounds. The hardtail bridge ensures stable tuning and sustain. This particular guitar is in excellent condition, with minor wear consistent with its age, adding to its vintage charm. Whether you're a collector or a player, the Fender Lead I is a versatile and iconic addition to any guitarist's arsenal. Includes original hardshell case. The first letter E designated the eighties, and the next two numbers (00, 01, or 02) indicated the year of manufacture. For example, E01XXXX = 1981. Fender Lead Series guitar serial numbers were installed on the headstock, inside body pocket, and back of the pick guard. An all original model may have the same serial number identifier on each of these major parts.
