Description
Brand new in box. Was $928.88 on Amazon! Unopened factory-packaged box was sent from the BlueAir factory directly to me late in 2024. I was going to keep it for when my other Classic 605 unit fails, but it's been going strong for over five years. This was originally BlueAir's flagship -- its largest air purifier model that is for large areas. Impossible to find. The concept is to circulate as much air as possible to purify it as fast as possible. The more circulation, the better. Go big or go home. Check Consumer Reports which gives this purifier its highest rating of all air purifiers. BlueAir and other manufacturers now refuse to make large air purifiers for large spaces anymore because people keep buying small "toy-sized" air purifiers to place on their desks. That does not solve the problem about bad air, VOCs penetrating your living spaces, or wildfires. A small toy on top of your desk does virtually nothing. Welcome to the Classic 605 unit to remedy that problem. Captures 99.9% of SARS-COV-2 (COVID-19)! It even tracks your filter usage to display a red warning that says, "Filter" when the three filters need replacement. Filters are customizable to be able to use either a general HEPA-style filter or a HEPA-style filter with carbon overlay filter to include elimination of cooking odors, formaldehyde, and other VOCs. I currently use a Classic 605 model in my basement to swiftly contain and eliminate funky odors, mildew smells, and it is amazing. From whisper-quiet on the lowest fan speed to sucking tons of air that feels like Hurricane Ian on high speed, you can ramp up and down the fan speed when the time calls for it. You can also program fan speeds on multiple daily and nightly schedules to, i.e., ramp down the fan at night, turn the night light on to a dim glow or make it bright for hallway use, for example. Do your research. There are very few units in the marketplace that can move the volume of air it does. The very unique design really works and has a modern "Ikea-like" look to it. I also have and am using a BlueAir Classic 605, BlueAir Protect 7770i, a BlueAir 7710i, as well as the BlueAir Pro XL. Come see them all and decide for yourself. I have all, including the BlueAir 211i Max, new in boxes and for sale. Perhaps the best thing to understand about all purifiers is that the claimed amount of air moved (by the respective manufacturers) is always stated at the highest speed. You will never, ever keep any unit on its highest speed at all times as it would drive you nuts with the fan noise. For that reason, you should think about what amount of air you need to move and how often you should move it to maintain healthy air. At the lowest speed that you cannot even hear, this Classic 605 is amazing and is up to the task, moving a mountain of air! If you are "on the fence," I will demo the one in my basement for you. I will show you how easy and powerful it is to use. I will, if you like, also demo and compare other BlueAir models discussed above so that you can make your own decision whether it is the best product in the marketplace for your needs. I have all of them for sale, new in boxes. I do not reply to, "Is it still available" because that generally indicates spam. The purifier works better than any similar ones made by Health Protect, Alen Breathesmart, pure, Samsung, Classic, Cube, Honeywell, ozone, Carrier, LivePure, Shark, LG, IQAir, Sharper Image, Germguardian, Germ Guardian, Whynter, Brondell, Winix, Coway, Airmega, Instant Air, Bissell, Airdog, Rabbit Air, 3M Filtrete, Febreze, Eureka, Boneco, Levoit, Molekule, Homedics, Therapure, Rowenta, Allergy Pro, Cuisinart, SPT, Bionaire, Whirlpool, Vornado, Medify Air, Taotronics, Crane, Dyson, Black & Decker, or Lasko. Compare the specifications yourself and make the decision!
