This 130 piece intricate triple-headed elephant (Erawan) design and teakwood-bronze construction cutlery set was manufactured by the Siam Bronze Factory (founded in 1954) in the late 1960s, includes original teakwood case. 17 pieces are still factory sealed proof is the stamp is on the wrappers. The "Erawan" elephant design is a common motif in Thai art. These sets became highly popular souvenirs for American soldiers on rest and recuperation (R&R) during the Vietnam War era (mid-to-late 1960s). Please review all pictures for more condition details.
