This is rarest limited edition of the Rigoletto Serigraph that we can find at this time. This edition is signed and numbered 'AP 46/50' as can be seen in photos. 2. The framing and matting is unlike any other we have seen. Most Rigoletto serigraphs come with a black matte background although this piece includes framing and matting containing an ornate black and gold curtain border making it an all around stunner through this unique combination. This is a unique limited edition embossed silkcreen with foil stamping on what we believe to be wove paper from 1985. This edition size was limited to only 50. It is signed and numbered. Artwork Measurement: 35" H x 30" W Framed Piece: 43" H x 38" H x 2" D This is most certaintly an authentic piece. There is some light wear on the frame itself including light scratches, paint chipping, back framing paper damages, very small dings / wear and tear, and dust. A professional clean is recommended for this amazing piece. The artwork itself is in excellent shape. The layers and detailing in this work are mesmerizing. Rigoletto may be one of Erte's most iconic pieces of work and is a testament to his incomparable artistic mastery.
