275 Gal Tote Tank (Oil, Power Washing)

Condition: used Dimensions: 40w X 48l x 48h I have one 275 Gallon plastic tote in galvanized (rust-resistant) steel cage with integrated steel pallet. The plastic containers are constructed of the same high density polyethylene that portable gas containers are made of as well as milk jugs. $100 NOT FOOD GRADE This Tote has quantity measurement marks on the white translucent sides for easy see-through level determinations in both Gallons and Liters. This tote has forklift openings on the base for ease of movement when full, and yet is light enough to lift easily by hand with two people when empty (about 100 lbs.), and one person can even move it by jockeying from corner to corner while tilted, or on a hand-truck. It can also be rolled on its side when empty. The 275 Gallon tote measures 46"H x 40"W x 48"D. This tote fits inside most enclosed work vans, or for more discrete transportation of fluids, such as with #2 Diesel or Home Heating Oil. Totes are very convenient for long-term storage or transportation of large quantities of liquids, including heating oil, kerosene, diesel (#1 & #2), bio-diesel or other petroleum products. This tote comes with a large 6" threaded opening on top with cap included to facilitate easy filling and mixing of solutions, and cleaning. You can use a hose or power washer to rinse easily. A 2" threaded water-tight gate valve is located on the bottom on the front side, for dispensing of liquids. This tote can also be fitted with either a 12 volt or 120 volt electric or gas powered pump, for moving liquid into or out of the container either on-site or off, such as diesel fuel for refueling farm equipment in the field or reclamation of home heating oil or #2 Diesel. Totes like these typically sell for much more in visibly clean condition, however this tote was used for reclaimed home heating oil, so it's dirty and would require cleaning for any other purpose than oil. Please understand, this is NOT SUITABLE FOR DRINKING WATER, but could be used for a power washing water source such as remote power washing of trucks, cars and more.. Also they are designed so they can be stacked safely to heights of 3. This tote can also be used for storage and transport of any number of different materials, by cutting off the top of the plastic container. You can even get two containers by using the plastic insert separately from the metal cage, for instance, the plastic container can hold coal, while the metal one could be used to hold wood.
