Blue Bike Estate Sales is pleased to offer this exceptional early 20th century antique Arts and Crafts/Mission Oak Settle. While we were unable to locate a makers mark the craftsmanship speaks for itself , reflecting the quality found in pieces from renowned Arts and Crafts furniture manufacturers such as Gustav Stickley, L&G Stickley, Charles Limbert, JM Young, Harden and more. The settle is crafted from beautiful high-grade solid quarter sawn oak showcasing the distinctive and vibrant rays of the grain. It features slatted back and sides, and large paddle arms, all classic elements of the Arts and Crafts style that gained popularity during the early 20th century. The original spring seat frame remains intact and is in excellent condition. The seat was reupholstered by previous owners and is in good condition. This piece measures 72” wide by 27”deep and 37” high with the seat measuring 60” wide 23” deep and 17” from the floor to the top of the seat. This Arts and Crafts beauty would make a stylish and functional addition to any home.
