No chips, cracks, hairlines, or discolorations, no missing or dull gold areas on trim. This is the discontinued HAZEL pattern manufactured by the Scio Pottery Company in Ohio circa 1948. Depression era with a beautiful, timeless floral design. Great to add to your vintage / antique collection or Scio collection. This company was founded in 1932 by Lew Reese. HAZEL was produced on Scio's Ranson shape and named in honor of Lew Reese's wife Hazel. The floral decal has a pink rose plus blue and yellow flowers. The entire set is in excellent condition with no nicks, chips or cracks. The 24k gold trim is strong and shows no wear. These were never used, they have been sitting in my china cabinet, untouched for decades, before that in my mothers cedar chest, before that in my grandmother's china cabinet.
