I upgraded speakers so up for sale is an awesome pair of a/d/s L470/2 audiophile two way bookshelf speakers. Both speakers have been treated well through their life. Never driven to excessive levels. I used them on two mid-60s low wattage tube receivers and they sounded incredible. Probably the best sounding jazz speaker I've heard, but does every music well. a/d/s was a bit under the radar up until about two years ago. They have since become extremely popular on the used market due to their excellent sound and because they were USA made in Wilmington, MA. This pair has sequential serial numbers as well. Probably some of the best bookshelf speakers in this price range I've heard. The speakers are in excellent shape. Cones and tweeters work as they should. Both grills with badges and the internal cloth baffling are there. The only issue the have is there's one nick at the top corner of one speaker and one of the plastic binding post caps cracked. The metal part that screws down is still there and I put a piece of plastic from another speaker over it. Both issues are strictly cosmetic. And speaker wire connects to all four binding posts with and without banana plugs without issue. Now is a perfect time to grab a pair, of well taken care of a/d/s as prices for used ones keep climbing.
