This gown is fashioned in organza over a stretch lining and is embellished with beaded metallic lace appliques. A sheer inset accents the neckline and the skirt flares into a chapel train. I paid $2,249 for the dress plus $1,000 in alterations, so $3,249 total. Alterations included adding a bustle, size D cups so a bra is not needed, and the dress was taken in on the sides to really make it a form fitting, mermaid style.
