Antique 12.5-inch carbon steel frying pan from the Wrought Iron Range Co. which started in 1881 to early 1940's making wood and coal burning stoves and pans, cookware to go with them. They produced these pans that are lightweight for cowboys to carry without heavy weight like cast iron. This pan and strainer is very RARE is in excellent condition and strainer insert sits perfectly inside. Unique collector’s item, but fully functional for cooking. *Has not been used in decades. I'm selling for my elderly friend who has had it for decades in cupboard unused. Often referred to as a “cowboy steel pan,” because of its lightweight carbon steel construction. *Diameter: 12.5 inches *Lightweight carbon steel construction for even heating and easy handling *Includes rare, original strainer insert *Excellent vintage condition with no cracks or warping *Authentic early 1900s cowboy-style design
