USA made DW Drum Workshop series drum set Keller Maple 20" bass

This DW Drum Workshop series drum set was crafted in the USA at the Oxnard, California Facility. These drums represent DW's initial attempt to provide a more affordable alternative to the Collector's Series. They were constructed to DW's high-quality standards before the mass-produced Pacific line was introduced. Built using USA Keller maple shells without reinforcement rings, these drums produce a remarkable sound characterized by enhanced sustain and a more open tone compared to the traditional Collector's Series. However, DW discontinued this line after approximately two years of production due to escalating production costs, which began to rival those of their Collector's Series. The drum sizes are 16x20", 9x12", 11x13", and 13x15". These drums bear a stamp indicating manufacture on July 12, 2000. Overall, they are in very good vintage condition, very clean, with edges and interiors in excellent shape. There is uneven fading present across all drums. The drums have minor scratches, and some pitting on the chrome.
