NAD 216 THX analog two channel amplifier Unit was cleaned inside and out. All electrolytic capacitors were replaced with new audio grade Nichicon capacitors and WIMA film capacitors, all 6 power supply filter capacitors were replaced with new ChemiCon capacitors. Reflowed solder joints to several components as needed. Replaced thermal paste and thermal pads on the outputs. The 216 is one of the best amps NAD made from this era. Perfect example of the warm yet neutral NAD sound they became famous for. This amp has a ton of current and can drive just about any load. After the refresh the amp sounds amazing, the 125w rating seems much lower than what this thing dishes out. Unit is in good condition outside, some blemishes but nothing crazy - see pictures. 125w x 2 @ 8ohm 400w x 1 @ 4ohm bridgeable 20hz - 20khz @ 0.03% THD S/N: 117db Dampening: 200 Meets/exceeds THX standards
