Vintage Glimakra Standard Loom

Absolutely pristine mid century rug/tapestry loom, made in Sweden by Glimakra. Meticulously maintained and an excellent working order. The pictures truly don’t do it justice! Comes with extra reeds, a raddle, a ton of beautiful, wooden shuttles, bobbins, etc. Hoping this beautiful loom can find a new home where it will be put into use and enjoyed. It’s constructed with an awesome slot and peg system that is extremely sturdy, but also makes disassembling the loom a lot easier. It’s truly a wonderful piece of equipment! Either rugs or tapestry can be worked on this loom. I also have some awesome learning material from iconic master weaver Peter Collingwood that I’m happy to include with the loom. Everything is here that you need to get started weaving. Just add yarn.🙂 You’ll definitely need a truck to transport the loom, but I am happy to help with loading it. My best friend and I disassembled this at its original home and reassembled it here in my studio, so I’m familiar with that process. I’m happy to help with disassembly.
