Description

My parents have asked me to sell their personal collection of around 40 healthy Sarracenia Oreophila plants. These are all nursery grown, legally propagated, and in excellent condition. I will be allowed to keep the proceeds, and I’ve decided to donate $4.00 from every plant sold to support Ukrainian refugee children in Krakow, Poland-a cause that means a lot to me. Sarracenia Oreophila, also known as the Green Pitcher Plant, is a rare and endangered North American pitcher plant native to the southeastern United States. Known for its tall, vibrant green pitchers with flared lids and striking veining, this species is both a conversation starter and a stunning centerpiece in any carnivorous plant collection. This plant thrives during the growing season with erect, tubular pitchers that can reach up to 20 inches tall. The pitchers are designed to attract, trap, and digest insects, providing essential nutrients in nutrient-poor soils. In late spring, it produces elegant, nodding yellow flowers on tall stalks, adding even more visual appeal.
