Description

This is an engine rebuild project for someone skilled in jet boat engines. Engine was submerged for six months or so with fresh water when plug was not pulled for winter storage approx two years ago. I am helping a friend move it along. Its in a storage yard now in Gig Harbor. Needs a trailer because the current one is damaged. I'm told it can probably be towed down to the bay nearby to swap trailers with some heavy strap added for safety. It could also be put on a flatbed trailer. The hull and interior are in great shape. Cover has rip across the middle but should be reparable. It's a well made cover with webbing and ratchet strap vs.shock cord holding it on and zippered pockets around the cleats, etc. The electrical that did not get wet like lights, bilge, blower and horn are ok. Mechanic has assessed and believes it can be rebuilt. More is owed on the boat than we can pay a mechanic and then sell it to recoup the loss. Restored, these boats are listed between 16-22K. If you have the skills it could be a good investment. Let me know what questions you have.
