Hidden Treasures on the Brick Road 10003 270th St NW, Stanwood, WA 98292 Open: Fridays 1pm - 4pm & Saturdays 1pm - 6pm Length (inches): 5.00 Width (inches): 3.00 Height (inches): 4.50 A handsome mid-19th-century English copper-lustre pottery creamer featuring a warm, mirror-bright metallic glaze with an ochre/yellow band hand-decorated in a scrolling leaf motif. The classic bulbous body rises to a narrow neck with a pinched spout and a shaped handle, all set on a small pedestal foot. Rich, iridescent surface and a pleasing, compact scale make it an excellent accent for a shelf, sideboard, or small flower posy. Materials: Earthenware pottery with copper lustre (metallic overglaze); hand-painted enamel band Style/Theme: Victorian Staffordshire copper lustre; floral/leaf garland band; cottage/folk revival décor Age: Circa 1840–1860 Measurements: Approx. 5 in wide (handle to spout) x 4.5 in tall Condition: Good antique condition with expected age wear, surface rubs and scattered scratches to the lustre, small glaze nicks and flea bites on the rim/spout, minor manufacturing pits and typical base wear; no obvious cracks or repairs noted.
