The Opal XL 270 Filter Cartridge has a filtration area of 270 square feet and features an extra large size cartridge that maximizes its dirt holding capacity and minimizes maintenance. The Opal XL also features a dome shaped lid with grip handles that allow simple cartridge removal and replacement. The Opal XL cartridge filters are ideal for applications where back washing may not be practical or areas where water may be scarce. The Opal XL filters are constructed from high impact polypropylene and designed for easy maintenance and trouble free service. It has a solid one-piece molded tank and low profile for easy cartridge removal and inconspicuous enclosure. The large cartridges are made of heavy-duty polyester fabric with wide and deep pleats for better filter efficiency. Other features of the Opal XL filters include an easy-to-read pressure gauge, air relief valve, and 2 inch quick connect barrel unions.
