Description

Here we have a 1917 12” Band Saw made by Up-To-Date Machine Works Company. She’s been totally taken apart, cleaned, lubed, Emerson Pancake Motor rewired & enameled to Her original glory. New blades & belt. Runs smoother than a 1956 Oldsmobile. I’ve made a few cuts and She cuts like a hot knife on butter. Her table was taken down to 3000 grit then stained a nice dark walnut. I didn’t want to ruin the patina so I didn’t fill any holes. It took 100 years to get these battle scars to I left them. Her wheels were polished to like new. I also slapped on some new urethane tires and now the blade tracks perfectly.
