Very rare and collectible vintage Sumo Athena II preamplifier (linestage only) and matching Sumo Aurora AM/FM digital tuner. Both with rack mount handles, and both are later versions with all gold plated RCAs, and you can also tell the preamp is a later version b/c the "special" input is actually labeled for the internal DAC option (which is not included), not a phono input. Both are in truly excellent condition and working perfectly, look at the pictures, if you’re an audiophile and/or collector, you will not find a pair in better condition. Great sound quality from both, tuner pulls in stations exceptionally well, and the preamp is quiet and dynamic (has a toroidal transformer inside and large power supply capacitance, among other things). Asking $600 for the pair, will NOT separate. Cash and local pick up only from West L.A. No trades or delivery, reasonable offers only. Thanks for looking.
