This coin is a little more desirable than other Proof Eagles because it is just the second year of issue for the Silver Eagle. That makes this a must-have for any Silver Eagle collection. And like all Eagles, it is one full ounce of .999 fine silver. The coin comes in its original Mint Packaging which consists of the presentation box, outer box, and certificate of authenticity. You can tell the coin is just about perfect just by looking at it. Since Proof Silver Eagles are not circulated coins they always grade at PF-69 or 70 -- and it really is impossible to tell the difference between the two. The coin has that gorgeous mirror-image finish with frosty white reliefs you expect from high quality proof Eagles. The coin has no major toning or major blemishes at all.
