I saw a Printer that they offered on OfferUp. The Star TSP100. I messaged them on OfferUp and they didn't respond. I called them on Wednesday and they confirmed they had the item at their Coral Gables location. I confirmed the address and the item.

Today, Friday, I called in the morning to make sure they were open. I confirmed they had the printer. When I arrived (a 45 minute drive from my office) their employee had no idea what I was asking for. I showed him a photo of the printer (from their own offer up account. Not sure why *I* had to show them *their* listing.) He said "There was a misunderstanding". I was livid angry. I need this printer for a client and was told repeatedly by them that they had it. When I showed up there was nothing. Complete waste of an hour and a half of my Friday.

When I called their manager they reiterated that they "have a lot of OfferUp accounts" and they "weren't sure what listing I was referring too". As if it was *my* fault that they are disorganized.

Completely wasted my time.

EDIT: The manager (I didn't get her name) reached out and did everything she could to source me the printer. She was very patient and thorough and worked very diligently to find a the unit in time.

By this point I had already found another one from OfferUp but the effort was really amazing and it shouldn't go unnoticed. That sort of follow through to make things right is huge in any business.
