Current hours: 427 Most recent service - over $4000 worth of parts alone: -Risers -Manifolds -Transom Refresh (New Bellows, Water Tube, and Shift Cable) - Fuel pumps & filters - Starter Motor - Spark Plugs - Spark Plug wires - Restitched leather seats -New drain plug housing sealed and installed by Basin Marine (local shipyard in Newport Beach, CA) This boat was purchased from the original owner who used to keep it at Newport Shipyard but wanted to get rid of his overhead to store it there. The boat was listed by David at Silver Seas Yachts in Newport Beach, CA. I have all transaction receipts and mechanical survey results including compression test, engine hour RPM report, new spark plugs, etc. that was done prior to that purchase last year. This is my second 270 SLX and I believe they are the best < 30 foot boat on the market.. Here’s why.. -Has a bathroom with full grey water pump out system -8.2L Mercruier big block engine which gets the boat up and on plane quickly even with 10+ guests onboard -21 gallon fresh water tank onboard which pumps to the onboard sink and bathroom sink -Rockford Fosgate full sound system with 10-inch integrated subwoofer -Permanent hardtop bimini which keeps guest cool on the hottest boat days while also being rock solid doing 40+ MPH in the ocean -Motorized windlass (controls at helm) with 120’+ of chain and rope The time has come for me to sell this boat, as sad as it makes me. Since I’ve had her there’s been a lot of new parts and maintenance done which will essentially eliminate every ownership headache that you may have gotten otherwise. This boat stays on the trailer in storage and is cleaned and used regularly.. At least twice a month. In my experience, I have always had better luck purchasing boats that are used frequently as a lot of the quirks are more worked out. These boats have certain quirks like the starter fuse which blows occasionally, but if you keep it on a trickle charger then you’re fine.
