This all original Tascam 488 mkii Portastudio cassette 8 track recorder is in excellent cosmetic condition. All original knobs & faders are working and intact! NOTE: It is *almost* working. The motor that lifts the heads into place likely has a broken belt (common issue on these units) so the cassette section/recording functions are not currently operable. It will require repair, which I have not really looked into. It does however fully pass signal - both of the infamous microphone preamps work great, and all of the mixing functions work/sound awesome as well: both effects loops, assignable processing, etc. Kept in a smoke-free, pet-free home. Asking $260 cash/Venmo. Possibly open to trades for quality guitar effects, microphones/ preamps, Danelectro guitar, bass or baritone, etc. I have lots of other guitars, music & recording gear listed. Willing to meet at the Kingsgate Safeway (north Kirkland) on 124th Ave NE.
